As you know, there are many kinds of perfumes; of all types, sizes, fresh or more intense. There are so many that we can’t afford to buy 20 perfumes at a time. It would be very expensive to choose the one that we like the most for each month.

The perfumeries that we find in the streets offer us a great variety of opportunities from the hand of big firms such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, etc. Could you buy, for example, a perfume of each one in a month? Maybe yes, but it would be quite a lot of money, considering that their prices are quite high. That is why many people look for alternatives to smell good, economically and with the same quality or almost the same as these firms.

It turns out that the economic crisis made us realize that we needed cheaper alternatives, products that may have the same quality as others, but cheaper € 1 or € 20. And in the end, it’s all about marketing, that’s what the big brands really do. So the solution that many found was to create products that focus not so much on marketing, but on quality and on offering a very good product for an even better price.

For me, especially, I love perfumes. So I wanted to find that alternative that would allow me to spray during the week with a casual aroma and, on special occasions, to use something different.

And where could we find quality perfumes at a good price?

I want to introduce you to Vismaressence. It is a factory of perfume in bulk located in the Region of Murcia, which creates hundreds of perfumes, air fresheners, body splash, white-label cosmetics and a quality that surprised me greatly. They focus on wholesale, but individuals can also make our purchases. Maybe a store in your city, neighborhood or town that has a perfumery and cosmetic establishment in bulk has its products.

I wanted to give them the opportunity at the time I found them, because I think that every store deserves at least 1 opportunity, to show what they sell. Who knows, maybe it's better than you expect. Selling is not easy and we have to be open minded to try different things.

Lampe Berger at a very good price

The famous aroma diffusers Lampe Berger, have always been known, among other things, for its high price. Normally these fragrance lamps do not descend from € 40. But today we bring news. There is a brand that manufactures these fragrance lamps at much lower prices and with a quality and effectiveness at the same level.

How to use the Lampe Berger?

If you follow these steps correctly, nothing will go wrong. Fragrance lamps are easy to use if we forget some details it may lead to its malfunction and we might not understand why.

• 1.      Open the lamp and remove the string inside (if there is one, it usually comes apart from the bottle).
• 2.      With the small funnel included, pour the essence into the bottle.
• 3.      Now put the rope inside, close with the cap and wait about 20 minutes. That time will enough for the rope to get impregnated with the essence.
• 4.      Remove the lid.
• 5.      The rope has a flammable stone, which we will have to light with fire.
• 6.      Let it burn between 2 and 4 minutes.
• 7.      Turn off the fire by blowing.
• 8.      Close with the proper cover of the lamp (the one with a grid).
• 9.      END.

AGUA DE ROSAS. ADOLFO DOMÍNGUEZ

Today we have decided to talk about one of the perfumes that have lasted over time. We are talking about a fragrance that we all know, at least by its name. An iconic fragrance throughout the history of feminine perfumery, which will continue being a sales success in every store in the world. We are speaking about “Agua de Rosas” by Adolfo Domínguez.

A bit about this great author’s life.

Adolfo Domínguez, born in 1950 in a village in Ourense. He was a student of art and cinema in Paris during his youth. He opened in 1976 his first store, representing the collection that would take him to the dashing.

Adolfo Domínguez did not release his first perfume until 1990, under the name of "Agua Fresca". It had a great success all around Spain in several occasions. His first perfume made him become the first designer of Spain to release a fragrance with his own name. Some years later “Agua Fresca de Rosas” made its appearance. Elaborated with rose petals, lily of the valley and jasmine among other olfactory notes. Nowadays it’s still the most sold perfume in Spain.

Concerning the perfume

It is a fragrance that belongs to the floral olfactory family. It is a fresh, young and natural fragrance full of life. Its essence of rose petals has such a watery freshness of dew, so suggestive ... hidden in spicy fruit nuances that sweetly conjugate with the velvety seduction of musk.

Its Head Notes are fresh, fruity and watery; floral Heart Notes; and woody and bit intense amber Base Notes. This perfume has everything to remain, today, a success in sales and the first choice for thousands of women in the world who do not want to change to another scent.

Who hides behind these smells? The cause of success is Joan Bruses, who drew the olfactory silhouette of this toilet water. Its Top Notes are grapefruit, bergamot and mandarin. These are fused with a floral bouguet of the lily of the valley in its Middle Notes, including the presence of lilac and jasmine. These last two adorn its subtle form, the elegant aroma of the Bulgarian rose. Its Base Notes are composed of sandalwood, oak moss, and amber, achieving absolute seduction.

Its 20th anniversary

The year 2015 witnessed the 20th birthday of the fragrance. Therefore, they had to celebrate it in the most emotive, incredible and visual possible way.

The subway station of Callao (Madrid) was filled with colors and flowers, creating a beautiful artificial garden. All the intention was to create an aura of wisdom and elegance. The decoration had to express all the keys of femininity through a fragrance so fresh, delicate and floral.

People’s opinion

Some people say that we have to face modern times: if we do not update ourselves we will die in a world too advanced for us. However, there are customs that can not be left behind. There are products that, today, have the same or more prominence than in the beginning. But this only happens if we know how to keep them in time, facing any challenge or difficulty.

Agua de Rosas is a product that has not gone out of fashion; there are still people who trust in its power, in its attractiveness and all the potential it has. There are products that do not lose their essence, and this is one of them.
