Description of the CK2 Unisex Fragrance

The world of perfume is constantly growing. The immense variety of scents that the perfume market makes available to us makes choosing a perfume that suits us an increasingly complicated task.

To make the task a bit easier when choosing your signature scent, today we share with you the characteristics of a new perfume that manages to woo even the most demanding noses. We’re talking about CK2, the new unisex fragrance from Calvin Klein.

Perfume CK2, a scent suitable for all genres

It was just a few months ago that the perfume CK2 by Calvin Klein hit the market. Specifically, its official public launch took place on February 2nd.

After the commended CK One, Calvin Klein returns to the fray with unisex perfumes with CK2, a fresh and alternative fragrance that knows no gender. This new fragrance was developed by Pascal Gaurin and Ann Gottlieb, who have not hesitated to take a chance with a very special oriental touch.

CK2 perfume delights us with floral hints of violet leaves, a trace of mineral and, as we said, a very special touch: wasabi. On the other hand, this unisex fragrance combines warm aromas thanks to ingredients like frankincense, vetiver and sandalwood. This is complemented with traces of tangerine, rose and orris root.

Calvin Klein also wanted to give a special touch to the look of this perfume. Thus, CK2 arrives in an attractive glass cylinder arranged on a transparent base that allows us to place it both ways, i.e. right side up and upside down.

The CK2 unisex perfume is available in three different sizes: 20, 50 and 100 milliliters. They have an estimated retail price of 41, 50 and 62 Euros respectively.

For those who enjoy wrapping themselves up in a unique fragrance, the CK2 range is complete with a body lotion, shower gel and deodorant stick.

Undoubtedly, this new prospect from Calvin Klein will become one of the star aromas of 2016. We love it – what about you? What do you think?

10 Dior perfumes you should not ignore

Whether we’ve getting ready in the morning to go to work, before an important business meeting or that special dinner with your partner, we always step in front of a mirror beforehand. We dress for the occasion and try for a look that is both flattering and allows us to rise to the challenge (and beyond it). But in this aesthetic that is our personal brand, behind the visual aspect, there is a sense that we should pay more attention to: smell. Dior perfumes are that distinctive accessory that makes us stand out.

Christian Dior, while still being affordable, is one of the most internationally prestigious brands, which is why year after year it is placed in the best selling positions in our country. Its perfumers know how to combine tradition with current and fresh elements to offer a varied line with its own personality. Below, we would like to introduce the 10 Dior perfumes that have caught our attention in recent years, for women as well as men.

J'adore

Dior’s women’s perfumes have a clear winner with J’adore. With its sweet floral aroma, its fruity overtones and notes reminiscent of wood, it has managed to stay on the podium of best sellers worldwide since 1999. We couldn’t agree more; it's an incredibly feminine perfume.

Miss Dior

The Miss Dior perfume has marked some of the most special moments in the lives of countless women. This new version of the first Dior perfume combines the loving caress of roses with slightly citrus touches that provide a clean, fresh sensation that is perfect as a first perfume for a teenager or young woman.

Poison

In contrast to the previous scents, Poison is that perfume that you reserve for special occasions. Complex, mysterious, full of sweet and spicy nuances, mature and elegant, an intoxicating perfume which is impossible to remain indifferent to.

Dolce Vita

This is the Dior perfume of joy and sensuality. We love its base notes dominated by cedar and how the sweetness of lily, rose and peach stands out in the foreground.

Dune for him and her

But Dior doesn’t just dress women in its fragrances, but men as well. And in the case of fragrances like Dune, there are versions for both. Dune for her is a sensual, resonant, dense, smooth perfume with floral nuances that almost caress; for him, a shout of confidence, tranquility and authenticity through natural aromas, predominantly wood and nuances of fig and sage.

Dior Homme

And yet, those men who like Dior fragrances have other options which are equally sublime. Dior Homme, one of the most sold last year in Spain, with its soothing scent of sage, the personality of cacao and the masculinity of leather.

Fahrenheit

We all know a man who use Fahrenheit. In this fragrance, citrus and delicate aromas such as lavender and jasmine stand out on a solid base of wood and leather. It is a powerful, long-lasting fragrance that makes its wearer feel unique and lets him live his life going strong.

Higher

Another candidate for the perfect perfume is Higher, no doubt a Dior men’s fragrance appropriate for adults only before of its maturity and elegance, a mild aroma and with a tendency to evolve over the course of the day, transforming from fruity sweetness, passing through rosemary and ending with the serenity of pear wood.

Sauvage

Like Poison, Sauvage is a polarizing fragrance; you either love it or you hate it. However, we believe that it deserves a place among the best Dior fragrances. It’s fresh, masculine, young, and impulsive. With strong notes of pepper and patchouli gently wrapped in the mystery of amber, endowing the wearer with an unparalleled power of expansion.

What about you? How do you get dressed in the morning? We are sure that from now on, you won’t your perfume to chance. When in doubt, try one of the winning combinations that the Dior universe has to offer.

The sweet fragrances of Carolina Herrera

Many fragrances are marketed under the label of Carolina Herrera today. Since its inception in 1988 with the perfume Carolina Herrera, the brand has developed more than eighty fragrances for both women and men. Although they have experienced a slight evolution and variations in their aromas, they have always been true to the essence of their creations: they usually have a touch of sweetness. This is achieved thanks to their floral and/or fruity notes which characterize virtually all of their fragrances.

Evolution: from Carolina Herrera to CH

Carolina Herrera, the women’s perfume which officially launched Herrera's career, was highlighted by an intensely sweet aroma. Among its top notes is an intense orange blossom and among the heart notes is jasmine. It is classified by many as completely timeless and remains a strong contender for women over 30.
The age of the audience of Carolina Herrera’s fragrances has also gradually decreased. While Carolina Herrera is now considered mostly for adult women age 30 and older, the famous CH and its entire line are ideal for young women. The same goes for lines 212 and 212 VIP, which can even be classified as sexy and daring. One of the latest creations, the special limited edition Central Park from the CH line, also has a younger feel with fruity and woody notes. In its evolution towards a younger audience, the change from floral to more fruity notes and even citrus notes has played an important role.
At the same time, bottle designs have evolved from classical to more modern and daring. As proof, we need only take a look at the designs of Carolina Herrera and the now well known 212 VIP.

Fragrances for men

The men’s version of Central Park also stands out for its fruity essence, and it’s not the only one. In fact, many of Carolina Herrera’s perfumes for men have a touch of sweetness, such as the well known CH Men, with heart notes of wood and jasmine, which some noses claim could even be used as a perfume for women.
They follow the trend of many other designers who have tried to give their men’s fragrances a smoother, more sensual touch, moving away from the classic men's fragrances with tough and aggressive green notes. In this way, we let the boys evolve into the figure of a sensual and seductive man, more in touch with a younger identity than that of the tough, protective man.

10 Fragrances for Spring 2016

Just as each perfume has its time of day and you wouldn’t choose the same one for the morning as you would at night, some perfumes are more suitable for the colder seasons while others are ideal for nice, warm weather. Spring fragrances are fresh and light and go with a bolder and more colorful wardrobe.
And of course, flowers and the color pink are symbols of spring, so Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs is our first candidate for the most popular fragrance on the streets this season, with its floral notes of iris, rose and freesia combined with the youthful sweetness of pear and tangerine.
Perhaps for warm April nights Jeu d'Amour L'elixir by Kenzo would be the perfect choice, with delicate hints of innocent vanilla, the sweetness of black raspberry and the daring role of rum as a base note.
But if spring stands out for anything, it’s for being a little suggestive and provocative. What with its sundresses and all, spring has the ability to make us look great and let the imagination run wild, so why not do it with an innocent fragrance with hints of caramel mousse that turn into dominant notes of blackberry. Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo is the fragrance for good girls with an impish soul.
Candy Kiss by Prada is undoubtedly the fragrance for women who want to attract attention, its top note as well as both heart and base notes of arousing musk along with the freshness of orange blossom and the softness of vanilla are a combination fit for a femme fatale.
Poison Girls is the Dior fragrance for young women this spring. A touch of mischief, recognizable from the mother fragrance of the line, Poison, mixed with spiced notes like vanilla, sandalwood and orange.
The new fragrance Hugo Woman Extreme by Hugo Boss also stands out with a floral touch, but softer. Its top notes are boysenberry and grass, while among its heart notes we can find jasmine and black tea. The version for men, Hugo Extreme, surprises with fruity notes of green apple and heart notes of geranium and lavender.
For him, we include L'Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum from Guerlain for this spring. With L'Homme Ideal, the first release of this line, having come out in 2014, the Eau de parfum has a lot of promise with its woody-oriental notes and hints of vanilla and leather.
Gentlemen Only Parisien Break is the new Givenchy fragrance for him. It has notes of mint and lemon with sage, following the trend of sweet and sugary fragrances for men. It’s as fresh as spring itself.

Have you found your favorite for this spring?

Foods influence your body odor

Foods influence your body odor

As we have said before, the smell of a perfume is influenced by the effects of your body odor. Well, our body odor also changes according to the foods we eat.

Some of these foods, whether because they require a long digestive process, or because they produce a chemical imbalance, cause the odor we give off to be a bit unpleasant.

Here, you have some of the foods that you should be careful with so that your body odor is the result of internal balance:
Sugar Excessive consumption of sweet foods and refined sugars changes the acidity of the body while also increasing its temperature, thus generating sweat and body odor.

Red meat Because it stays in the digestive tract a long time and stagnates, red meat tends to rot and release bad gases and toxins.

Chile and spices Spicy or strong smelling foods such as spices, garlic and onions, have the potential to cause bad breath and body odor. This is due to the sulfurous gases produced during digestion, which are quickly mixed with the blood.

Coffee and alcohol Excess caffeine and alcohol has a direct effect on body chemistry. In fact, alcohol has the innate ability to make you sweat, with an unpleasant smell that lingers for a long time.

Dairy Consumption above in the recommended daily intake can cause unpleasant body odor because these foods contain a high protein content that is broken down by bacteria in the stomach to form hydrogen sulfide.
